Nice document, the photo is not bad for the way you run, why do not you put on a acquarietto field?

Thanks Lorenzo ... I'm gearing up for the acquarietto, indeed I should receive it as a gift from a friend (Antothefly) that I built it.

shot well done (there are reflexes) and interesting: I did not understand if you live in a little water, if you're preparing to flicker or if you've positioned so for the shot ... ;-)

Have larvae that live underwater, for the shot I just shot a stone from the water, often remain attached, I've done nothing but constantly wetted to avoid compromising its vital process, without touching it at all. What you see is still a layer of water since the stone, at least the immersed part was covered with moss mixed with mud that held without problems.

I had no doubt about the attention that you used: I was just curious to know how exactly they live completely submerged (like similar) because I seemed to remember that there are also preimaginal stages of insects with aquatic larvae (definitely not her ...) living right clinging to rocks in streams on which it runs only a veil of water ...

I had no doubt about the attention that you used

... is my principle, I want absolutely!
Practically live underwater, with a life cycle from larvae ranging from one year to two and then have a short life out of the water, as the saying goes "short-lived", sometimes even a single day!

I think it's a shot magnificent, both pre how you handled the evil reflections of the water for the document itself, and also for the composition that takes a lot of "static" the bug!
I was at the lake last summer sedudo-chair takes one to 30cm of water with some people, when I heard something that was walking on the left leg and despite being a small dragonfly that was very similar although different This color and size, unfortunately I did not have the "tools of the trade" with me ... I dipped and removed from the leg, but nothing to do, time 10 seconds and returned to climb, so to avoid that end up in the panties I rested on a rock where it remained for at least an hour or so ... maybe it was female:-P
Congratulations on your shot, really good!

Very interesting subject, shooting very well done, beautiful diagonal, I like the reflections that contextualize the subject.
