Si tratta di un'anomalia che prende il nome di discoria, vale a dire un'anomala ed irregolare conformazione della forma della pupilla; può essere congenita, cioè presente già alla nascita (malformazione), oppure acquisita, ad esempio a seguito di gravi affezioni del bulbo oculare. Nel gatto domestico è particolarmente frequente come esito di perforazione del bulbo quale complicanza di infezioni virali.

Grazie per le info Fabrizio, non mi era mai capitato di vederla prima Il gatto mi sembrava in salute e quindi l'anomalia , per sua fortuna, non doveva dargli grossi problemi.
