In Sicilia è una specie svernante: generalmente arriva a metà settembre e si trattiene fino a marzo.
La settimana scorsa ne ho visti tre contemporaneamente: uno tentava di sottrarre la preda (un grosso cefalo) ad un altro individuo nettamente più piccolo inseguendolo per ogni dove. Un terzo, nel frattempo, attendeva l'esito della contesa per farsi sotto... Uno spettacolo!
