Tra i momenti più attesi del viaggio, c'era sicuramento quello del secondo più importante raduno hinduista dopo il Kumbha Mela e devo dire che non ha certamente disatteso le mie aspettative tanto che, ora che mi sono fatto un idea di cos'è e di come funziona, di ritornarci presto prima che sia conosciuto....... Abbiamo avuto il privilegio di essere gli unici turisti in mezzo a centinaia di migliaia di fedeli che si recavano su di un isola nel delta del Gange per bagnarsi nelle acque del mare. Nell' entusiasmo di condividere quei momenti mi sono anche io fiondato in acqua fino alla vita dimenticandomi anche della batteria di scorta che avevo in tasca. La batteria non ha più funzionato ma è ben poca cosa rispetto alle emozione di quei momenti... Ganga Maiya era il grido che di tanto in tanto intonavano in coro i fedeli in fila per ore durante una lunga notte di attesa per prendere il traghetto. West Bengala - India - Gennaio 2015
