C'è tutto in queste forme, l'ammirazione, l'esaltazione, la bellezza, lo stupore, la vanagloria ma anche e soprattutto la fragilità che ci accompagna. Però vorrei prima sottolineare come la natura ci regali spesso opere che solo lei riesce a produrre, gioielli d'arte che a volte durano solo un batter di ciglia ma che se colti ti riempiono di luce per l'eternità. In quest'opera di ghiaccio vi sono una miriade di personaggi e (non ne potevi scegliere una migliore) ci sono pure io. Vi sono volti che esprimono stupore per quanto realizzato, tanto che restano a bocca aperta. Vi è poi il soggetto principale (cioè io e scusate l'immodestia ma oggi è il mio compleanno e penso che mi permettiate qualche esagerazione), sulla destra, con il volto rivolto verso l'alto, con un braccio piegato attorno al collo e con una leggera pancetta, che si bea della situazione. Questa festa lo esalta, lo porta al settimo cielo. Ma, sopra la sua testa una sinistra figura con un ghigno diabolico lo attende al varco per punire la sua vanagloria. Il quadro si completa con diverse figure, c'è perfino chi si è messo la cravatta (sulla sinistra), intervenute per festeggiare ma come tutte le cose belle, spesso durano poco e la sottigliezza di questa scultura ci ricorda la sua fragilità, che a volte rispecchia un po' il nostro stato d'animo, giusto a ricordarci come tanto può essere duro e forte l'uomo, tanto può essere sensibile e fragile.
