Eremo di Santa Caterina del Sasso Costruito su un costone roccioso a strapiombo sul Lago Maggiore, l'Eremo di Santa Caterina è sicuramente uno degli scenari più suggestivi del lago, si compone di tre nuclei architettonici risalenti ai secoli XIII-XIV ed è un capolavoro di eleganza e ingegneria. Dall'ingresso principale dell'eremo si vede una lunga veranda ad archi da cui si gode una spettacolare vista lago che abbraccia la sponda piemontese sino alle Isole Borromee.
