Lago di Antrona (Vb). E' un piccolo laghetto situato a circa 1100 mt. di altezza, caratterizzato da un sentiero che in circa un'ora permette di fare il giro completo del lago, con un punto molto spettacolare che passa sotto a una piccola cascatella.

Hai detto bene è proprio un'oasi di pace. A parte le domeniche d'agosto (da evitare) è un luogo da frequentare per cercare un po' di tranquillità.
E' a soli 30 minuti d'auto da casa mia e io e mia moglie ci andiamo molto volentieri parecchie volte all'anno.
Come ho scritto nella didascalia, in un'ora di camminata si fa il giro completo del lago... ci sono un paio di punti panoramici in cui ci si ferma volentieri in contemplazione..... e quando si arriva al termine del giro ci si ferma nel bar/ristorante a fare merenda e a gustare le loro ottime torte.Cool

You are right in saying it is an oasis of peace. Except Sundays in August (to avoid) is a place to hang out to try a bit 'of tranquility.
It 'just a 30 minute drive from my house, and my wife and I go there very happily several times a year.
As I wrote in the caption, in an hour of walking you do the full tour of the lake ... there are a couple of sights where you stop willingly in contemplation ..... and when you get to the end of the lap you stop in the bar / restaurant to have a snack and enjoy their delicious cakes. 8-)
