L'Isolotto si trova a poche centinai di metri dalla terra ferma. La leggenda narra che tra il 1100 ed il 1400 D.C. questo fosse utilizzato per imprigionare le Donne che commettevano adulterio,tradimento,o stregoneria. Da qui il nome del paese : Isola Delle Femmine In realtà questa era una torretta di avvistamento che utilizzavano le persone del luogo per avvistare navi di Pirati-Mercenari ecc..;Da qui attraverso segnali luminosi si comunicava con la Torre che si trova sulla terra ferma, che a sua volta girava il segnale agli abitanti che subito cercavano riparo e/o difendevano il piccolo paesino dagli assilitori. Sotto L'isolotto,sul fondo del Mediterraneo,si trova un aereo nazista della seconda guerra mondiale.
