La Barbet rossa e gialla, uno dei più colorati uccelli africani. Non è molto comune, vive solo in determinate zone, ma nemmeno la si può definire rara. E' elusiva e schiva per questo non esistono, al pari di altre specie africane, molte immagini.

Francesco, preferisco il rugby ma quanto al calcio sono bianco-nero fino al midollo MrGreen

Questa Barbet in realtà era in coppia, una su un tronco e l'altra poco distante su un termitaio, ho sperato sino all'ultimo che si unissero ma niente, ad un certo punto si sono involate in direzioni opposte. E allora tira a quella a destra ..... no tira a quella di sinistra e così, come un piccione ho perso il volo. Triste

This Barbet was actually a pair, one on a log and the other a short distance on a termite mound, I hoped to the last that would join but nothing, at some point you are involate in opposite directions. And then pulls to the right ..... no pulls to the left, and so, like a pigeon I missed the flight. :-(
