, 1/80 f/16.0, ISO 2000, tripod.

Le Actias dubernardi sono falene orientali, molto diffuse nelle zone boscose della Cina. In questo scatto, realizzato circa un ora fa, vediamo in maschio di colore giallo/rosa e la femmina di colore verde chiaro. Questa foto è stata composta su qeuesto posatoio proprio per evitare i movimenti delle lunghe code (circa 10cm) che vibrano anche con un vento impercettibile...dai dati di scatto si comprende meglio, perchè ho scattato senza flash e pannelli, quindi ho dovuto alzare le ISO anche perchè i miei diaframmi sono sempre belli chiusi! Questi esemplari sono sfarfallati questa notte, non hanno neanche 24 ore, e presumo che si accoppieranno in nottata: le uova si schiudono in circa 2/3 settimane, e i bruchi si nutrono principalmente di Pino, passando da una colorazione nera, rossa e infine verde dal terzo stadio fino alla pupa!
