il problema è fare una buona composizione: dev'essere armoniosa e non avere elementi di disturbo (come sempre poi), ma non è così facile fare una buona composizione con un tale soggetto! In PP ho evidenziato la tridimensionalità dando risalto al ghiaccio in primopiano rispetto al resto e poi ho lavorato sull'acqua (sia quella corrente che quella spumeggiante) per estrarne un buon dettaglio.

Sì, il cavalletto è essenziale, ed anche un buon obiettivo è importante (il macro in questo caso).

Secondo me è mooolto migliore come correzione del colore!!!
