Parco archeologico di Capocolonna - Ruderi del tempio di Hera Lacinia. Nell'antichità (Magna Graecia) questo sito era il luogo più' sacro, meta di pellegrinaggio dal resto del mondo conosciuto, paragonabile all'odierna Lourdes. Il tempio era formato da numerose colonne e ricoperto di marmo bianco. Erano presenti altri edifici, adibiti ai pellegrini provenienti da ogni parte del mondo, ove potevano riposarsi e rifocillarsi. Questo sito era circondato da un fitto bosco e chi proveniva dal mare a distanza di chilometri riusciva a distinguere il bianco del tempio (ultime ricerche dicono che i templi erano due).
