B exceeded half of the bridge do not find anymore, because you see that many were closed definitely by insiders.
Alternatively you can try to place the stand and camera so that the lens Bracket through space that there is' between the "railing" and the handrail; in this case I was of great help Fuji XT1 and the small 14mm 2.8 R with which I took this shot otherwise impossible with the 5d2 and 24L;-)

2 - The deck is continually crossed by four lines of underground trains that are shaking all over. We must therefore find the right time to start the show, especially if long, because vibration will make you stand Trashing virtually all the shots because of the blur.

Finally, if you gowinter do not forget gloves and hood; arrived to the center of the bridge bless them:-D

Armando

Stefano thanks again for the advice,
I guessed that you had taken from the Manhattan bridge, your explanation I clarified how did
other photographers have decided to cut it with pliers in some places and create openings from which you can squeeze out the lens
.
if you go in the winter do not forget gloves and cap
why I already knew because I went in November 2014
The bridge is continually crossed by four lines of underground trains that are shaking the whole
This is the biggest problem ...
I decided Thou shalt be my GUIDE for New York;-);-)
Armando
