, 1.3 sec f/4.0, ISO 3200, tripod.

already, I did not think of something seen cavarci light pollution so I did "only" 85 shots .... I also wanted to ask for some advice on how to manage the brightness of the sky background is not unifrme; in this case with photoshop I cloned in a copy of the comet and apply a blur filter to get a nice heavy mask brightness with which to correct the overall brightness of the image ... a method a bit 'rough but at the moment is what came to my mind. Some advice for the next shots that I will try to make them in a few days?

Oh and another thing, I apologize in advance as it has been asked many times already. Apparently DeepSkyStacker not digest the raw of my 60d (the thumbnails of the images have an aspect ratio wrong) so I have to convert them to advance in tiff. After alignment and averaging of the shots I get a 'picture bright (almost white) and very desaturated. Any ideas about what the problem is? I get a picture with DeepSkyStacker Live MOOLTO more beautiful!

Today I feel even with the 70-200 as yours, it may ride piggyback on the LX200 that I will use to guide and hope for slightly longer exposure times, moon light pollution and ISO of the 5D m3 permitting;) Pretty much anyway!

Yesterday I made 25 shots from 15 seconds to one iso 320 and more 15/2 NN could be due to the moon and light pollution, now I have to find a software to align images with the Mac and also understand how it works:-D

This is the single click? It seems that you did track the stars instead of the comet ... and that black sky! You have lowered the contrast curve is output or so? See also seems that few stars ..

Sorry I saw now that is the sum of several shots, I do not know what software you used for stacking but with DeepSkyStacker can superimpose shots aligning the comet and not the stars, maybe doing so you begin to see even the tail ...

I used deepskystaker on virtualized window starting from tiff if I use the raw crashes, are not very handy software :( where I went wrong?

After that you do not do the alignment automatically combine images.
on the right is a button Aforma comet, you can indicate if you click on the shoot the comet by clicking on it with the mouse while holding down shift (otherwise magnet pointer near the brightest point). You must do it for all the shots in lista.poi in combination options you can choose whether to align the stars, the comet or both ... discouraged to align both because from what I understand is two separate images with the other two methods and then unites in some way ...

Anyway I'm not too practical, I tried a couple of times ... would serve most authoritative opinions :)
