Scatto eseguito da dietro una vetrina per cui non potevo inquadrare a mio piacimento. Potevo tagliare ancora a destra, ma così la foto risultava troppo stretta e lunga. A sinistra ho voluto lasciare solo la parte alta di un'altra scultura, che sembra una luna per lasciare posto solo alla scultura. Lo so che è meglio lasciare più aria davanti al soggetto, ma ho dovuto tagliare come ti ho spiegato.

Shooting run from behind a window so I could not frame to my liking. I could cut right again, but so the photo was too narrow and long. On the left I wanted to leave only the upper part of another sculpture, which looks like a moon to give way only to the sculpture. I know it's better to let more air in front of the subject, but I had to cut as I have explained.

Rendere vitali i momenti espressivi di una scultura rappresentandoli adeguatamente in un fotogramma virato in b&w non e' certo semplice, ma il risultato ottenuto mi sembra molto valido ed idoneo a consentire formulazioni personali di lettura.
Il taglio di inquadratura e la postura statuaria spingono l'attenzione verso l'alto, a ricercare ed osservare qualche elemento di interesse.
A questo slancio verso l'alto, sembra contrapporsi l'ombra nera sull'occhio sinistro della statua, che pare, metaforicamente parlando, impedire al soggetto di "osservare" davanti a se.
Un complimento ed un caro saluto Lully.
p.s.: se puo' interessarti, ho inserito un paio di scatti nuovi, se ti va dagli un occhio.

Make vital moments expressive of a sculpture representing them adequately in a frame tacked in b & w and not 'some simple, but the result seems very good and capable of allowing formulations personal reading;-).
Cutting framing and statuesque posture push the attention upwards, to seek and observe some element of interest.
At this upward momentum, seems to contrast the black shadow on the left eye of the statue, which seems, metaphorically speaking, prevent the subject to "observe" in front of him.
A compliment and a warm greeting Lully:-).
ps: if you can 'interest, I added a couple of new shots, if you go from one eye.
