It was more than one year that I wanted to come here ... a place that I personally think the most evocative of the Dolomites!

I've been there two times: the first a disaster, overcast all day, flat light and zero shots taken home, but the trip helped me cmq to get an idea of ??the place and what is being photographed I did not want the classic image from Locatelli but something different! In fact, down from Lavaredo I noticed at the bottom of bodies of water in front of the 3 Peaks and I really wanted to go there.
The week after we returned and not knowing which path to take absolutely went to instinct, only later discovered to have taken the path more long and difficult. Fortunately, after an hour's worth of walking and hard work (the path was much harder when compared to the other) I noticed a small lake on the left just below the tops and I thought to myself, "maybe I've finally found" and it was! I walked around the lakes (3 and are all pretty piccoli) and I was fascinated by the place and by the imposing peaks. The water is pure and incredible clarity, it from there come to some sources, so I took the opportunity to quench my thirst and fill the two bottles I brought with me ... the water is very good and ghiacciatissima. I tried it a point to wait for the sunset and saw that I was pretty tired, I decided to relax and enjoy the spectacle of the peaks lying down on the grass with the wind caressed my face (they were appeno 16 pm) ... I stared at the tops for a ' hours or maybe almost hypnotized by their beauty, even then I fell asleep for half an hour ... maybe ... I woke up about a gust of wind

Come sunset the emotion was very strong, especially when the tops began to be tinged with red ... and at that point I took the time lasted about 2 minutes!

Beautiful shot, colors and composition!
I'll tell you more ... so much envy in the middle of September finished work I went with two friends from there to take a photo like this, but got there we found a slight haze that gave a weak feeble light at sunset we had just two minutes of light, but not so vivid, more as night fell the Tre Cime They were shrouded by clouds in glory by sending the pictures stellate. There is a way!

Reflection amazing!!
I find it a bit too sharp contour of the 3 peaks, however, a rare picture
