E quasi giunta alla meta, tante sue compagne non ce l'hanno fatta preda di varani o uccelli. Ora dovrà affrontare i pericoli in mare, se ci riuscirà diventerà adulta ma passeranno anni prima che ritorni al luogo natio questa volta per procreare lei stessa. È un bel documento e un immagine appropriata all'augurio di buon anno che ricambio di cuore.

Ringrazio tutti per gli interventi e per i vostri bellissimi commenti.
Abbiamo stimato che le tartarughine (poi aggiungerò il nome scientifico) fossero 60-70. La spiaggia era priva di predatori, forse grazie alla nostra presenza, e assolutamente tutte hanno raggiunto il mare. Ogni volta che una piccola veniva travolta dalle onde, avevo la sensazione che fosse inadeguata per affrontare tanta forza. Naturalmente sappiamo che sono nate invece per affrontare queste difficoltà. Non tutte ce la faranno a ritornare su quella spiaggia, ma anche questo fa parte della vita.......
Ancora un grande augurio a tutti per un sereno e felice anno nuovo.......

We estimated that the turtles (then add the scientific name) were 60-70. The beach was free of predators, perhaps thanks to our presence, and absolutely all have reached the sea. Every time I was a little overwhelmed by the waves, I had the feeling it was inadequate to deal with such force. Of course we know that they were born instead to address these difficulties. Not all going to make a return on that beach, but this is part of life .......:-)
