Tortora orientale (Streptopelia orientalis)?! E' rarissima in Italia. Comunque, bella foto.

Eastern Tortora (Streptopelia orientalis) ?! It 'very rare in Italy. It seems to me a much more common collared dove (Eurasian collared dove). Anyway, nice picture.

Ciao,Denis

The collared dove or dove eastern (Eurasian collared dove Frivaldszky, 1838) is a bird of the pigeon family [2] , a native of Asia, but in the twentieth century had a strong expansion in Europe.

Guidoalpino this is what I found on the net: in substance is called dove Eastern Europe (in Italy) also what you say.

thanks for the visit and for comment ;-)
