Quando finalmente ho avuto la certezza di poter partire per l'Islanda ho sperato con tutto me stesso di poter fotografare l'aurora in mezzo ai ghiacci, una delle ultime sere dopo tanto freddo e tanta attesa ci sono riuscito! Qui addirittura si intravede la via lattea a metà della foto, mentre sulla destra la luce rossa che si nota è quella del Bár?arbunga, un vulcano tutt'ora in attività che ha reso inaccessibile mezza islanda a causa della sua eruzione e che dista quasi 100km dal ghiacciaio, tanto per farvi capire quanto imponente sia l'eruzione!
