Rara immagine di rinoceronte nero madre-cucciolo, si pensi che l'ultima volta che ho visto un cucciolo risale al 2005 sempre in Kenya nel Masai Mara.
L'area attorno al Mont Kenya è senza dubbio una delle più belle e interessanti del Kenya. Se non che è però molto urbanizzata, vi sono immense serre a coltivazione di fiori e ortaggi e piantagioni di frutta che si estendono a perdita d'occhio dove multinazionali come la Del Monte hanno posto i loro "cartelli". Così i pascoli migliori sono quelli all'interno delle riserve e gli animali selvatici sono pertanto costretti molto spesso alla convivenza con gli allevatori e il loro bestiame. Dal un punto di vista del fotografo ne possono scaturire come in questo caso situazioni curiose e interessanti, da naturalista rimango però un poco perplesso di fronte alla continua riduzione dell'habitat che inevitabilmente crea problemi alla fauna selvatica.
PDR ottimale in quanto la pista era ad un livello inferiore rispetto ai soggetti.

The area around Mount Kenya is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful and interesting of Kenya. Molto interessante il contrasto tra i soggetti selvatici e gli animali al pascolo, reso ancora più belo dallo sfocato e dal PDR che conferisce una certa "tridimensionalità" alla foto.
Very interesting contrast between the subject and wild grazing animals, made even more blurred by belo and the PDR, which gives a certain "three-dimensional" to the photo.
