Bell'idea, ma avrei cercato di abbassare un po' il contrasto della strada bagnata, degli edifici e della persona di colore annegata nel nero.

Lascia pure la tua elaborazione, non si cancellano le idee potrebbe essere fonte di ispirazione.
A me piace il B/N molto contrastato. Più come una scacchiera se potessi che con la P.P. Questo perché mi piace riprendere situazioni contrastate con soggetti correlati da contrasto o analogia che se la foto lo sottolinea anche nella cromia lo risalta.
Eppoi il contrasto dà anche più dinamismo e profondità. Prendi l'esempio dell'uomo in bici a metà foto o lo stesso uomo di colore che è l'altro soggetto della foto col suo carico di ombrelli. Detto questo non vorrei sembrare colui che deve insegnare qualcosa, anzi.

Leave well as your drawing, do not cancel the ideas 8-) could be a source of inspiration.
I like the B / N very contrasted. More like a chess board if I could that the PP is because I like to shoot situations contrasted with parties related to contrast or analogy that if the photo it also emphasizes the cromia the stands.
And then the contrast gives even more dynamism and depth. Take the example of a man cycling in mid-photo or the same black man is the other subject of the photo with its load of umbrellas. That said I would not look like the one who has to teach something, indeed.
