at 483mm, 1/1000 f/8.0, ISO 500, hand held. Specie: Geronticus eremita

www.lauromagrisphotonature.com - Priorità apertura, Focale 483mm,val.dev.esp. +0,000 . 2016 4 esemplari uccisi (Thor e Tara presso Grosseto, Kato presso Montecchio Precalcino -VI- , Enno in Val Camonica -BS-).

I thank those who have clicked like pausing, the emperor Nero for the welcome comments:-). Fortunately for us Franco, the number is increasing slowly;-).
The subjects kept in captivity in zoos, farms etc. in the world should be between 1500-2000.
In freedom instead there are some hundreds in Morocco (population north and south of Agadir), where, after a worrying decline that had brought them to perhaps no more than 200-250 are now projecting to almost double.
Little is known of the ibis "migratory" recently discovered in Palmyra in Syria, who were less than ten (with perhaps only one or two pairs survivors).
A few hundred people are then reared in semi - captivity in Turkey from parts of Birecick.
Project Oasis imprinting Quadris (20-25 andsemplari): Italian prepartorio project for a future project "Migratory" act to save this species from extinction.
Project "Waldrappteam" (Countries involved: Austria-Germany-Italy): since 2004 have been accomplished the first migrations guided by Upper Austria to Toscanameridionale through the Friuli Venezia Giulia. Since 2007, the project site was transferred in Burghausen, Bavaria. Migratory specimens of this project ca 60.
