Nelle campagne del foggiano, soprattutto ma non solo, si incontrano spesso i poderi O.N.C.. L'Opera Nazionale Combattenti (O.N.C.) era un ente assistenziale fondato durante la prima guerra mondiale ad opera di Francesco Saverio Nitti e Alberto Beneduce. L'ente, costituito nel 1917, nasceva con il motto "terra ai contadini", prima, e "terra ai reduci", poi, con lo scopo di reintegrare al lavoro i reduci di guerra assegnandovi la terra espropriata ai latifondisti assenteisti dell'Italia centro-meridionale. Al reduce di guerra e la sua famiglia veniva assegnata una vera e propria azienda agricola completa, il podere. I poderi, tutti pressoché uguali, erano costituiti da circa 30 ettari di terra, una casa rurale su due piani con una stalla annessa, un silo per la conservazione del foraggio, un forno in muratura, un pozzo e un magazzino. Pare che venissero assegnati anche attrezzi di lavoro e animali. L'ente passò attraverso due riforme del suo statuto, nel 1923 e nel 1926. Quest'ultima riforma, effettuata quando il partito fascista aveva consolidato il potere, diede nuovo impulso alle sue attività di propaganda, orientandole verso lo sviluppo dell'agricoltura a scapito di quello finanziario e sociale, attraverso la nomina di Angelo Maranesi alla direzione dell'ente, da parte dello stesso Mussolini nel marzo dello stesso anno (in parte tratto da Wikipedia, http://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Opera_Nazionale_Combattenti). 41°18'25.6"N 15°48'30.6"E

Uno spettacolo di nitidezza il Sammy, a tutte le aperture. Certo la distorsione non è facile da gestire per l'architettura. E poi la 6D è magnifica, scatti con estrema semplicità grazie alla sua tenuta ineguagliabile agli alti ISO.
