L'aquila delle steppe, in inverno, si incontra frequentemente in tutto il nord ovest dell'India dove viene a svernare. Indico sempre il luogo dove la foto è fatta, in questo caso Bikaner, nel deserto pochi km fuori dalla città, ma l'ho vista anche a Barathpur (Keoladeo NP), a Tal Chhapar, a Jaisalmer e nei pressi di Jodhpur.
