E' scattata intorno al 1920 probabilmente vicino al massiccio dei sette fratelli.
In alto a sinistra con la camicia bianca mio Nonno materno.
Anche lui aveva la passione per i cervi.....
Povero cervo probabilmente un antenato di quelli che ho fotografato io

La Sardegna allora era quasi un far west pochi centri abitati non c'erano strade asfaltate che collegavano Sassari a Cagliari, unici due grossi centri.
La caccia indiscriminata in assenza di leggi ha portato alla totale stinzione del Daino e alla sensibile riduzione del Cervo Sardo sino a raggiungere la quota minima negli anni 80 di soli 200 esempleri.
Oggi grazie a politiche di controllo ed alle reintroduzioni la popolazione è di oltre 6000 capi.
Il povero cervo ha ancora il velluto , è un esemplare maschio tra i 4 e i 5 anni catturato in primavera inoltrata, in basso si vede una piccola cerva o forse un cerbiatto.

Fisionomie e abbigliamento di un tempo (notare le calzature con la suola chiodata) e approcci verso la Natura che erano scontati e normali a quell'epoca e, in taluni ambienti, anche ora.

Erano altri tempi..la sardegna in quegli anni era una regione povera (parlo per come m'ha raccontato mio padre) e non si uccideva per sport ma per fame signori..
