Una Chrysomya albiceps (detta comunemente mosca verde) fa compagnia ad una Argynnis paphia sopra i fiori di Daucus carota L. ( ossia Carota selvatica). - - - Foto scattata lo scorso agosto lungo il "Sentiero dei Mulini" a Kaning/Radenthein - Carinzia (Austria). La stagione fortemente piovosa e anche stranamente fredda ha fatto sì che i miei tentativi di trovare soggetti all'alba fossero deludenti. Solitamente questa location ospita molte specie di farfalle ed in gran numero ma non quest'anno. Lo scatto postato è stato fatto in tarda mattinata quando alcuni esemplari, ovviamente in piena attività, si sono decisi a mostrarsi.

....ovviamente non sono del tutto soddisfatta... Dopo due giorni di ricerca all'alba senza alcun successo al terzo giorno sono tornata ma stavolta per fotografare il torrente visto che le farfalle non si mostravano. Ed ho incontrato loro.
Come dici tu ho colto l'attimo e, vista la situazione di scatto, molto di più non sono riuscita a fare...sarà per l'anno prossimo ;-)

Guarda che sovraffollamento sempre in quelle poche piante di carota selvatica MrGreen

.... Obviously are not completely satisfied ... After two days of searching with no success at dawn on the third day I went back but this time for photographing the stream since the butterflies did not show themselves. And I met them.
As you say, I seized the moment and, given the situation of shooting, a lot more I could not do ... it will be for next year;-)
Look overcrowding always those few plants of wild carrot:-D
