Un piccolo angolo di paradiso... A poco più di mezz'ora di macchina dalla metropoli di Honolulu si trova questa splendida baia per gli amanti dello snorkeling e delle immersioni.... Parco marino e zona rigorosamente protetta, permette l'accesso ai visitatori solo fino a parcheggio esaurito... In alternativa ci si può arrivare comodamente in autobus dal centro della città... Una valida alternativa se siete in ritardo, per non rischiare di restare fuori nei periodi più affollati.... Una volta muniti di biglietto, si viene obligatoriamente convogliati in una sala di proiezione per un breve filmato sulle regole da seguire una volta nella baia, e su come essa si sia formata nel tempo...e su tutto quello che vive al suo interno... Ho scelto questo scatto fatto con il Fish-eye, perche accentuato dall'effetto dell'ottica, si percepisce più chiaramente la sua natura... In origine era un cratere, che nei millenni è stato eroso dalla forza dell'oceano, fino a che una parte di esso non è collassata in mare permettendo la formazione della barriera corallina al suo interno... Rifugio oggi, di innumerevoli specie marine che in questa baia riparata trovano rifugio sicuro ed un ambiente ideale per riprodursi....
