Da come la leggo io questa è un istantanea di un momento di vita di spiaggia, direi autunnale dati i vestiti dei soggetti e la scelta del BN mi piace, la trovo adatta mentre il rosso del pattino non credo serva ad evidenziare che è un pattino.
Se avessi voluto "tirarlo fuori" avresti comunque potuto giocare col miscelatore colore sul canale rosso per schiarirlo parecchio.
La composizione che qualcuno ti ha elogiato a me sinceramente non convince, trovo ci sia troppo spazio vuoto a sinistra.
L'orizzonte è centralissimo e il gabbiano (che è un punto di forza dell'immagine) si trova anche lui molto centrale. A mio parere non bilanciano il "peso" del gruppo dei soggetti che stanno a destra.
Credo che già rifilarla di una bella fettina a sinistra la farebbe diventare più armonica. Senza andare a cercare la regola dei terzi, ma almeno una sezione aurea.
