L'airone goliath, paragonabile al nostro "rosso" è però molto più grande; altezza 140cm contro 90cm, apertura alare 250cm contro 150cm. In Kenya vive nei laghi d'acqua dolce il Baringo e il Naivasha. Stavano costruendo il nido, la femmina segue il maschio che parte per il "lavoro". Di li a poco sarebbe tornato con un grosso ramo nel becco. Una bella scena.
The goliath heron, comparable to our "red", however, is much larger; height 140cm against 90cm, 250cm wingspan against 150cm. In Kenya lives in freshwater lakes the Baringo and Naivasha.
