50mm. Sabato 25 ottobre 2014, h 11.10. Sembra un'astronave calata in mezzo a Milano. Il mio atteggiamento è ambivalente. Come fotoamatore apprezzo le occasioni di scatti suggestivi offerti dal complesso progettato da Cesar Pelli. Ma come architetto e studioso di storia dell'architettura e dell'urbanistica, pur constatando che Piazza Gae Aulenti è uno spazio urbano che "funziona", non posso che disapprovare il fatto che questa "astronave", completamente aliena al contesto e alla storia locale, "schiaccia" e "umilia" significative preesistenze storiche quali l'arco e i caselli daziari austriaci in un asse prospettico importante quale appunto Corso Garibaldi. #Grattacieli #UrbanLife
