Un grande incontro. Un grande emozione Voglio condividere con voi un grande incontro e una emozione eccezionale vissute oggi 23 Novembre : come tante altre volte mi trovavo in un capanno nell'oasi WWF di Persano. Dalle ore 7.30 ero in attesa che ,il mio soggetto preferito, il martin pescatore, si posizionasse sul posatoio , ma, niente, le ore trascorrevano lente e veloci e lo scontento per la mancanza di soggetti aumentava. Solo due i tentativi di atterraggio,comunque, non andati a buon fine e qualche scatto a un falco di palude. Stavo,ormai,pensando di tornare a casa archiviando la giornata come una delle tante già vissute : ritorno a casa a mani vuote. Normalmente utilizzo una 5D Mark III ma,sperando in un ritorno del falco di palude per qualche scatto più ravvicinato, monto la 7D sul 300 2,8 duplicato. Non scorrono nemmeno 2/3 minuti ed ecco attirare la mia attenzione del movimento tra le erbe dell'acqua , ad un tratto compare un cucciolo di Lontra con un pesce in bocca. Punto velocemente la camera , troppi mm. la 7D non riesce a mettere a fuoco. Puro Panico: "adesso perdo un incontro eccezionale" , altri tentativi di inquadrare, niente, decido di togliere il TC2 , mentre lo tolgo la Lontra scompare , lo sconforto mi prende, comincio a pensare di aver perso una grande occasione, nel frattempo controllo i movimenti dell'acqua e noto delle piccole onde sotterranee : " sta ancora qui" e, il miracolo avviene : emerge dall'acqua e resta quasi 2 minuti con la testa fuori dall'acqua regalandomi 40/50 scatti, per me bellissimi. Contentissimo pensavo già al ritorno a casa con il felice pensiero di condividere quest'incontro, ed ecco?...la Lontra riemergere con un grosso pesce in bocca e regalarmi altri magnifici scatti, poi allontanarsi soddisfatta come me: io per la mia cattura , lei per la Sua
