Alessandro, come al solito ti ringrazio ma forse questo ritratto non è così bello/interessante come pensavo
Eppure quando ho visto la scena sono rimasta a bocca aperta: indubbiamente conosco ancora poco questi splendidi animali e questa è stata la prima (e ultima) volta che ho visto un kudu cercare di mangiare un frutto. Li ho sempre visti mangiare foglie da piccoli arbusti (sono browser, non grazer) ed è stato stranissimo osservare questo esemplare passare più di 20 minuti a litigare con il suo boccone: non riusciva a masticarlo per cui continuava a farlo cadere a terra e sembrava non voler mai rinunciare all'impresa... come infine ha dovuto fare, lasciandolo rotolare per terra.

Yet when I saw the scene I was shocked: I still know little doubt these beautiful animals and this was the first (and last) time I saw a kudu try to eat a piece of fruit. I've always seen eating leaves from small shrubs (they are browsers, not grazer) and it was strange to observe this exemplary spend more than 20 minutes arguing with his bite: he could not chew it so he kept dropping it on the ground and did not seem to never want to give up the attempt ... like finally had to do, leaving him rolling on the ground.

Beh, te non lo trovi bello e interessante forse perché vuoi risultati migliori, ma pensa per un attimo a chi come me vede la foto bella nitida, ripreso egregiamente con un bel senso di profondità data dagli arbusti e soprattutto non vede questi esemplari di mammiferi neanche nei documentari, leggendoti e rimanere colpito dalla tua esperienza e in qualche modo avere una sana invidia se cosi si può chiamare, insomma capisci che intendo, cose che a me non capiteranno mai.........!

Well, you do not find it beautiful and interesting perhaps because you want better results, but think for a moment to those like me who sees the picture pretty sharp, recovered well with a nice sense of depth given by shrubs and especially do not see these specimens of mammals even documentaries, leggendoti and remain impressed by your experience and somehow have a healthy envy if you can call it so, in short, know what I mean, things that I do not happen to ever .........!

Cristina, forse la tua relativa delusione è dovuta al sole allo zenit, la luce peggiore per i fotografi, che ti fa vedere un'immagine fotografica meno bella di quella che i tuoi occhi avevano visto. Ma la fotografia certamente non delude me perchè ammiro una bella rappresentazione di un animale magnifico, che riesco ad ammirare per merito tuo. Grazie.

Cristina, maybe your relative disappointment is due to the sun at its zenith, the worst light for photographers, making you see a photograph less beautiful than the one that your eyes had seen. Giuseppe, mi fa davvero piacere leggere le tue parole. Hai ragione, anche per me si tratta di un animale davvero magnifico: i kudu, soprattutto i maschi, dotati di splendide corna, sono davvero molto eleganti... anche con un frutto in bocca!

lo sfondo in parte scuro e in parte chiaro lo sai che non è il massimo. Tuttavia l'esposizione è centrata e per le condizioni i dati di scatto sono corretti. Metto il mi piace volentieri perché a un maschione di Kudu non si nega mai, il particolare che più mi colpisce è la barba incendiata dal sole.
