at 16mm, Posa B f/5.0, ISO 100, tripod.

Hello Fabio, I tell you my feeling. I love the place, great hole where you put on a very impressive (and here the climber jumps out of a time ... :)). I find, however, that conveys little or no sensation at night, if it were not for the ride of stars I would not have noticed. I personally would develop to return to the viewer a bit of that feeling, sacrificing even a little bit in some detail. The sky is a strange color, a little at night. ;-) My two cents ...

Hello Max, I know that this photo does not look like a night but it's all natural, I mean that in these difficult shots ever IMO, is to join the Startrail a detailed landscape.
A careful study of lunar phases allowed to start the show just before the rising of the moon and stop shortly after its sunset.
Many photomontages that are all the rage now days they used to believe that at night the contrast is maximized.
Instead, using the moon to measure, for this must be studied phases, we can obtain a landscape that looks like a photo day with the stars ...... then the observer is free to like it or not.
For the color of the sky I did not want to make corrections by the selective wb ice came out so I think it's because of the moonlight ....
Athe prox and thanks for the ride.

4332secondi. You have calculated and you have been more than an hour with the shutter open to capture this wonder. Magnifico!
Ps: seeing the ice, I do not think the sensor has suffered high temperatures! :-)

In fact, the cold was the tool that allowed me to contain the noise, I think we were at least - 10 ....... also as said continued research in the area is the essential ingredient to make these shots.
