Dopo aver passato un po' di tempo dopo il tramonto per aspettare l'aurora (che non si è fatta viva..) alla laguna glaciale dopo il tramonto, verso mezzanotte decido di spostarmi verso est per passare la notte e far l'alba la mattina successiva. Quale posto migliore di Stokksnes per far l'alba? Vicino Hofn, questa è una laguna/spiaggia dove sulle sue acque si rispecchia uno dei monti più fotogenici (e fotografati) di tutta l'isola: il Vesturhorn. Questo monte non brilla certo per la sua altezza visto che non raggiunge neanche i 1000m, ma ha delle forme semplicemente spettacolari: nella stessa "catena" ci sono punte affilate ed altre invece più sinuose, e nell'insieme compongono un qualcosa di spettrale ed attraente. Ho passato la nottata ai suoi piedi, in quanto il parcheggio è proprio ai piedi del monte; una delle poche notti in cui ero l'unica macchina nell'intero parcheggio, avevo paura che crollasse un macigno da un momento a quell'altro e mi portasse via! Inoltre le ombre delle colonie di gabbiani alla luce della luna contribuivano a rendere il posto ancor più spettrale. Ho chiamato così questo scatto perché la cosa che mi ha ricordato fin da subito questo posto è la cresta sul dorso dello Spinosauro, un animale anch'esso tanto magnifico quanto spaventoso.

Davvero gradevole la luce delicata che ha accarezzato le montagne.
Guardando la versione in hd (ma anche quella standard se si ha l'occhio fino) si nota una scarsa nitidezza (se non proprio del mossoEeeek!!! ) sui profili delle montagne sul lato sinistro... non so da cosa possa essere dipeso, hai chiuso abbastanza il diaframma ed il fotogramma dovrebbe risultare uniforme su tutta la sua superficie. Presumo che ci sia stata qualche micro-vibrazione che abbia influito sul risultato.

Raffadelsessantanove: hai ragione, e molto probabilmente è dovuto ad un lievissimo spostamento della fotocamera tra uno scatto e l'altro (è frutto di una doppia esposizione); non l'avevo notato, grazie mille dell'avviso, appena ho un attimo le fondo di nuovo e stavolta prima le allineo in modo da non aver quel fastidioso doppio profilo sulla parte superiore sinistra! Grazie ancora!
