E pensare che a volte ho fatto ore a piedi in montagna per riuscire a vedere la via lattea... Qui ho scattato dalla piscina nel cortile dell'ostello in pieno "paese", seduto su una sdraio, caipirinha in mano. Bonito, Brazil

This reminds me a lot of my experience, half :-D
We were in the Marche recently, in a remote village, but still inhabited: there was a moral space sky that for my impossibility I could not take pictures. I planned to go on mountains, long walks and then a summer night (so haze, etc.) I find a fantastic sky. Really unexpected!

However, a great result and an enviable location ;-) curiosity: the focus was manual?
Thank you so much, greetings from Fabio :)

Hi Fabio,
Yes the focus I made in manual, since in the car with the starry never succeeds well. I used the technique of going into live veiw and zooming to the max, looking for a bright star, and then adjusting by hand the fire to look for the point where the star takes on the smaller diameter: this should be the correct focus for the sky.
Thanks for the ride and soon!

Hello Frederick, I read with pleasure your answer only now. Thanks for the tip, even if the season is not the best I'll try to do some night shots even on these holidays!
Good shots!! ;-)
