Al termine della Val di Funes, in Alto Adige, in mezzo a un bel prato a ridosso del bosco, sorge a 1346 metri di altitudine la graziosa Chiesetta di San Giovanni in Ranui, visibile in foto al centro del prato. La chiesa venne costruita intorno al 1744 in stile barocco e dedicata a Giovanni Nepomuceno, il quale venne ucciso perchè non rivelò a Venceslao le confessioni della moglie. Al suo interno si trovano un affresco che raffigura il patrono e una serie di 9 dipinti che illustrano la vita del santo.
