Ciao, stavo sfogliando il circolo fotografico e ho provato a farmi un'idea di questa foto, a me la luce sulla destra non piace proprio, perché distrae dalla modella che nei ritratti deve essere il centro focale. Detto questo, passo al resto della foto, dal punto di ripresa mi sembra di capire che fosse in controluce, l'illuminazione del viso, rende però il contrario, la luce artificiale ha reso lo scatto un pò "senza riferimenti" secondo il mio punto di vista, fossi in te avrei provato ad usare la luce del flash, si per schiarire il viso che altrimenti sarebbe stato all'ombra, ma cercando di "incidere" il meno possibile sulla bellissima luce del tramonto, le altre della galleria che hai fatto mi piacciono di più, sono più "naturali" forse, ovviamente mia opionione!

Hello, I was browsing through the photography club and I tried to get an idea of ??this picture, to me, the light on the right did not like it, because it distracts from the model in the pictures that should be the focus. That being said, step to the rest of the photo, from the point of shooting I understand that it was against the light, the illumination of the face, however, makes the contrary, the artificial light made the shot a little "without reference" in my opinion of view, I were you I would try to use the flash, it will lighten the face that otherwise would have been in the shade, but trying to "influence" as little as possible on the beautiful sunset light, the other gallery you've done I like more, they are more "natural" perhaps, my opionion of course!

Ciao Luca, apprezzo moltissimo il tuo commento, decisamente critico e costruttivo.
Le altre foto della galleria sono tutte fatte con luce naturale e un pannello riflettente, ma ho iniziato a fare i primi passi con i flash off-camera... e non è così semplice ricostruire la luce corretta, ho letto forum, guardato tutorial su youtube, ma credo che alla prima occasione (purtroppo per nulla frequenti dalle mie parti...) parteciperò ad un workshop per aspiranti strobisti.
Tornando allo scatto in questione, al di là della "fiammata" sulla destra, che come dici giustamente distrae molto dal viso della modella, come avresti ovviato per creare una luce più naturale possibile della scena?
Probabilmente avrei dovuto abbassare la potenza del flash, ma con la foga di scattare (dovevo fare diversi scatti a 3 modelle per un favore ad un'amica di mia moglie che fa la parrucchiera, orario al limite prima del tramonto), e, complice il display della fotocamera che non rende proprio bene la realtà dello scatto, ho valutato corretta l'illuminazione, senza avere chiaro in mente, in quel momento, che la scena sarebbe risultata "finta".
Per le prossime volte, cercherò di tenere a mente i tuoi suggerimenti!

The other photos in the gallery are all made with natural light and a reflector, but I started to take the first steps with off-camera flash ... and it's not so easy to reconstruct the correct light, I read forums, looked at tutorials on youtube, but I think at the first opportunity (unfortunately not at all common in my part ...) will participate in a workshop for aspiring strobisti.
Returning to the shooting in question, beyond the "blaze" on the right, as you say rightly very distracting from the face of the model, as you would have obviated to create a more natural light the scene as possible?
I probably would have had to lower the flash power, but with the rush to shoot (I had to make several shots in 3 models for a favor for a friend of my modaughters who is a hairdresser, the time limit before sunset), and, aided by the camera display that does not do really well the reality of the shot, I evaluated the correct lighting, without having a clear idea, then, that the scene would have been "fake".
For the next time, I'll try to keep in mind your suggestions!

premetto che non sono un esperto di flash, specialmente in esterni (adoro il sole io  ), provo a darti una mano in ogni caso, l'altro giorno per fare un ritratto controluce al tramonto non avevo il flash dietro, ne pannello riflettente, per questo motivo ho optato per il flash on-camera, giusto per non fare una silhouette, spesso infatti basta un minimo di luce per illuminare il soggetto senza però distruggere tutte le ombre sul viso, in definitiva il mio consiglio è quello di fare qualche prova, magari anche ad oggetti statici (non necessariamente modelle) con tutto il tempo di cui hai bisogno per ragionare su quello che fai, una volta trovata la tua configurazione ideale vedrai che andrai benissimo, perché si vede che hai occhio

I state that I am not an expert in flash, especially outdoors (I love the sun:-D), I try to help you out in any case, the other day to do a portrait backlit at sunset I had a flash back, it panel reflective, which is why I opted for the on-camera flash, just to do a silhouette, often in fact just a minimum amount of light to illuminate the subject without destroying all the shadows on the face, in the end my advice is to do some evidence, perhaps even to static objects (not necessarily models) with all the time you need to think about what you do, once you have found your ideal setup you'll see that go well, because you see that you have eye:-D -D

Luca grazie per i consigli... in effetti domenica ho scattato un po' a "caso" per quanto riguarda i settaggi del flash, e (tempo permettendo...) dovrei provare e riprovare cercando gli schemi di illuminazione più adatti per ogni circostanza.
Comunque ho postato un'altra foto sicuramente elaborata in maniera più leggera e, soprattutto, illuminata in maniera molto più naturale!
Mi farebbe piacere avere un tuo giudizio anche su quella, visto che mi sembri critico e cogli nel segno...
