, hand held.

California Ottobre 2014

Hello Rocco I remember the image of the redwood formed by union of photos taken at different heights and if I remember correctly it was just that the General Sherman is the largest ..
But his age is dated between 2300 and 2600 years, there are more old but, being born in the highest part of the mountain are smaller ....

Hard to make the idea with a picture, I imagine that the surrounding space does not allow many alternatives.

It must be very exciting to be in the presence of a living being of this size ...

Thanks Rocco.

Thanks Andy, there are many alternatives because it is in the middle of a forest so there can ward to enlarge the 'shot ..
Walking in these forests is also a show because there are a lot of other large sequoias less but equally impressive ...

Beautiful shot! Maybe you can eliminate the distortion in PS, using Adaptive Wilde Angle. It would have been nice to frame a few people to give a sense of proportion.
Congratulations again.

I thought the same thing, however even if you do not have the proportions of the data you have written you have the feeling of something really impressive.
A good document.

Beautiful picture looks really great I saw the redwoods in the park near San Francisco and those were already huge but in my opinion this really takes the cake .... in size.
