Vortices autumn sent on February 27, 2012 (18:09) by Albarighet. 11 comments, 1435 views.

at 27mm, 8 sec f/11.0, ISO 100, tripod.

Canon 450D, Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS @ 27 mm, f/11,0 8s 100 ISO, priorità apertura, treppiede, crop "panoramico", Parco della Storga (Treviso).

Like Catherine I'm a fan of the vortices of leaves ... the double vortex which is great but I would say mancail context in which entered, a recovery that would not exclude all the rest in my opinion would have helped. Personal opinion. :)

Thanks for the advice Simon, I have tried other compositions, but did not satisfy me.
Unfortunately, the "rest" would not be dramatic: a rusty metal mesh top with an old concrete pole in the pool, a muddy bank full of footprints (bottom) and a "grove" of bamboo (right).
There is a nice aphorism in this regard: "The photograph does not show reality, shows the idea that he has" (Neil Leifer).

On the other hand, you're absolutely right, a larger composition would be a good document on the destruction of natural resources and landscape (remember that this is a pool with various springs spring).
