Canon 5DMarkII - Sigma 180mm - f/20 - iso 100 Agriones Bononienses descriptae. Opuscoli scientifici 4:101-106, 1pl. DESCRIZIONE E' una delle libellule più diffuse in Italia e la più grande del suo genere (30-34mm). Il maschio ha il torace azzurro con una banda nera e l'addome dorsalmente nero tranne l'8° segmento addominale, che è azzurro. La femmina si presenta con tre forme cromatiche: una simile al maschio (androcroma) e due (ginocrome) con torace rosato da giovani che vira a bruno chiaro grigiastro alla maturità, con (forma infuscans) o senza (forma infuscans-obsoleta) una linea nera mesotoracica. Una colorazione violacea compare transitoriamente in alcune femmine. ECOLOGIA Periodo di volo esteso da aprile a ottobre. DISTRIBUZIONE E' ampiamente diffusa in tutta Italia. FONTE adonata.it
