Visto che la giornata alla laguna glaciale prometteva soltanto pioggia e nuvoloni senza accenni di luce, ho deciso di far "un passo indietro" e visitare lo Skaftafell National Park; in questo parco si trova la cosiddetta "Black Waterfall" ossia la Svartifoss, chiamata così proprio perché è circondata da rocce basaltiche scurissime e dalle forme molto squadrate e definite. Il sentiero per arrivare alla cascata è sommerso nel cuore del parco e circondato dalla foresta, un paesaggio davvero suggestivo. Ho scelto di chiamare questa foto "Black Organ" per via delle forme che a me hanno ricordato un organo. Ho voluto posizionare la cascata al centro in modo da valorizzare da entrambi le parti le splendide rocce che rendono questa così famosa, di cielo ne ho invece incluso poco in quanto era solo un grigiore senza alcuna forma e con molta foschia.
