Nome scientifico: Crassipennis Ectophasia ( Fabricius , 1794) Nome comune: Ectophasia Dimensioni: Gli adulti crescono fino a 5-9 millimetri (0,20-0,35 in) di lunghezza Descrizione della specie: è una specie di "mosche parassite" appartenenti alla famiglia Tachinidae sottofamiglia Phasiinae . I loro grandi occhi composti sono rossastri. In questa specie molto variabile il corpo, può essere nerastro o brunastro. L'ampia addome è schiacciato è ventralmente piegato. Si nutrono di nettare di fiori (soprattutto delle specie Apiaceae e Asteraceae). Le larve sono parassite di vari tipi di insetti, specialmente Emitteri Distribuzione e habitat: Questa mosca è presente nella maggior parte dell'Europa Periodo di attività: maggio - ottobre Luogo di ritrovamento: Galta, Venezia Maggio 2014

Debbo dire che anche una mosca può essere gradevole se ben fotografata. Personalmente toglierei quella lieve dominante cyano, anche se il soggetto è colmo di rugiada indicante le prime ore del mattino.
