intendi spostare il soggetto più ad un lato della foto?
Quella volta avevo avuto la fortuna di cogliere l'attimo, perchè ero in piedi sul vaporetto in movimento, e il sole è capitato in quel punto preciso per un solo istante, quindi non avevo avuto il tempo di provare altre inquadrature.
Sicuramente in altre situazioni avrei provato

mi sembrava la scelta migliore

Di fatti orizzontalmente è molto wide, che personalmente è una scelta che apprezzo nelle skyline.
Di sicuro stampata sarebbe molto interessante.
