Da quella fantastica edizione del 1988, non posso tralasciare e omaggiare, anche l'esibizione dell'albino più pirotecnico mai apparso su questo pianeta...!!! Da poco scomparso sulle rive del lago di Ginevra... Indomito chitarrista che ha calcato i palchi di tutto il mondo fino alla fine ( Alcuni giorni dopo si sarebbe dovuto esibire in alcune date nella vicina Austria... ) Uno spirito ribelle, esuberante e generoso nei confroti del suo pubblico... Questa primavera il lavoro non mi ha permesso di tornare ad ascoltarlo per l'ennesima volta... ma ricordo con molta commozione la sua esibizione di un paio di anni fa ... intensa e toccante... Dalla prima volta in quel di Zurigo nel lontano '85, non è cambiato molto, un esile uomo dai capelli bianchi come la neve e dotato di un fraseggio dalla velocità impressionante... Un bluesman di quelli veri.. che resterà per sempre nella storia del blues.. e nei cuori di molti di noi... So Long Johnny..
