existence of a "suspended" in a vacuum but kept alive and supported by the light that illuminates the base in a mixture of light and dark, to stand on the true ... (you were right to leave visible the texture floor)
beautiful 3d effect, I like it very much! good management of the shot underexposed (by now you know it's a technique that I love!) and the post!
complimentissimi honest! :-P:-P

Flavio thank you !!!
I played during shooting with underexposure and the knob has facilitated me in this by eliminating reflections (to me) are not desirable. The scenario behind the columns was very respectable (St. Mark's;-)) but I wanted to abstract the forms and make them, as you rightly noted, "suspended". ;-) One click that, ultimately, is born from the click and very little run PP.
Thank you again:-P

Thank you very much Luka:-P, I'm happy to have succeeded in my purpose, which, as you said, it was just enhance
geometries and their characteristic reflective
.

Best wishes to you both!

Even the great Kubrick would congratulate you for this beautiful image, reminiscent of, arguably, the scene of one of his masterpieces. It seems almost surreal that by that light (amplified by the reflection of the sun on the central monolith) should go out, at any moment, the hominid with the club. :-P

Congratulations to you and the author of the installation!

Ciaoo,
Adolfo

I was sure that you would have recognized the inspiration given to me for this shot from "2001: A Space Odyssey";-); Then when I read the definition given in his work by Heinz Mack namely: "The column is the man standing - with dignity - in space '.... well I thought that maybe the artist was a bit' inspired by the masterpiece of the world's filmography. ;-)
Thank you for your nice comment dear Adolf !!! :-P
A big thank you to you too dear Henry and Catherine: I can only be happy to have read your positive comments! :-P
Greetings to all!

In addition to the work itself I love the contrast between light and dark shadowy monoliths behind. It 's done in the evening and there is artificial lighting front? Hello Raphael. :-)

Thank you very much also you Raffaele! :-P

This photo was taken on October 18 at 17.30 having the sun behind me; the light you see is just given by the last rays of the sun. Dodging and using the polarizer I have tried to give maximum emphasis;-)
Thanks brother, Herman; let me know when you come back, please! :-)
A salutone at all!
