Dopo aver aspettato che calasse la notte alla famosa Gullfoss con la speranza di vedere l'aurora (alla fine svanita..) ho deciso di spostarmi per l'alba all'altrettanto famosa cascata Seljalandfoss, conosciuta dai più come "quella dove puoi camminarci dietro". E' lì che ho deciso di passare la prima notte e subito mi sono sorpreso di non esser da solo, ma c'erano un'altra manciata di macchine a farmi compagnia. La mattina arriva presto e con essa arrivano anche le delusioni ahimè, poiché proprio quando mi sveglio scopro che il sole sorge dietro alla cascata e non avrò la luce calda dell'alba sulla cascata. Il problema lo risolverò tra meno di dieci giorni, quando ripartirò per un altro giro e stavolta mi fermerò li per il tramonto. Comunque sia, quella mattina lì ricordo di essermi inzuppato da morire in quanto il vento tirava dalla parte dove mi ero posizionato e ad ogni scatto dovevo ripulire la lente e spesso non bastava neanche; direi condizioni di scatto abbastanza complicate, in quanto anche il freddo faceva il suo.

As regards long exposures well, I have a soft spot and not hide it. It is for this reason that most (all) of my photos of waterfalls, sea etc. always have a long exposure to capture the movement of love! I think it's a question of style, there are those who want to capture the moment and there are those who want to immortalise more than one! ;)
