Grazie Claudio, sono 6 cime di circa 1300 m. che formano, con i declivi, un semicerchio e al centro ci sono due laghetti vulcanici separati da una lingua di terra larga un centinaio di metri il tutto posto in una foresta demaniale del parco di Monticchio PZ. Al centro c'è l'Abbazia di S.Michele costruita a ridosso di una galleria costruita nel medio evo che arriva fio al paese di Rionero circa 12 Km di distanza.
