Osservando il diaframma usato suppongo tu volessi far risultare la foglia su tutto. In questi casi usando un diaframma aperto e quindi una pdc non molto elevata è necessario che la messa a fuoco sia precisa, ciò è anche difficile operando a mano libera, ma non impossibile, basta solo un po' di cura.
Personalmente però avrei optato per un diaframma più chiuso cercando d'ottenere nitidezza anche sull'albero perchè lo trovo un elemento interessante, ma questi sono gusti.

Hai perfettamente ragione, grazie per l'osservazione!

Purtroppo la scarsa luminosità della zona e l'obiettivo non stabilizzato (nonché i piedi a cavallo di un fossetto) mi hanno impedito di usare aperture oltre f4 per via di un abbassamento troppo alto dei tempi di scatto - che già erano un po' al limite. Ripensandoci potevo alzare un po' gli ISO per ottenere l'effetto da te indicato in "sicurezza".
