Specie a diffusione mediterranea. In Italia E. pennata è presente in tutte le regioni appenniniche nonché in Sicilia e in Sardegna.

Beautiful shot and subject spectacular! :-)
I would try to catch up on some 'highlights.

In terms of composition I would have left more space on the right: the lower part of the roost and too close to the edge.

With the benefit of hindsight I would have composed differently, it was my first empusa and emotion played a bad joke, I was afraid and ran away I tried to do as quickly as possible, and certainly if I have other occasions put more effort in the second half through the passage and suggestions, always very welcome :)

I can not believe your latitudes there are these beautiful creatures, some from that magical meadow can get out of it. :-D:-D
Have not make me feel bad, tell me that was imported from the Roman soil. ;-)
Congratulations on an excellent focus, which has been able to give a good outcome.
I think a light compensation during the shooting would have shown more good details on the brightness slightly faded, but the important thing is that these are present, then recovered.
