la tua foto rende benissimo l'idea della realtà odierna di Dubai.
Quello che mi sono chiesto quando andai anni fa, ma che mi continuo a chiedere oggi, visto che dicono di aver superato la crisi immobiliare di allora, è: ma chi ci dovrà mai andare ad abitare in tutti quei grattacieli? (i nativi sono pochissimi)
Il mio sospetto è che, presto o tardi vogliano fare un cambio: spediscono noi là al secco in mezzo alla sabbia e vengono loro qua da noi dopo averci comprato tutto a prezzo da saldi, vendendo in contemporanea a peso d'oro a noi i loro appartamenti illudendoci di aver fatto un affare.

Io ci sono tornato l'altro anno, di passaggio per lavoro, dopo 15 anni ed ho trovato un'altra città rispetto a quella che ricordavo. E' una città oramai multietnica piena di tanti contrasti e contraddizioni. Forse andrà finire come dici tu, noi li a lavorare per loro e loro qui a godersi le nostre bellezze autentiche.
Un tassista Indiano alla mia domanda che ne pensi di Dubai mi ha risposto, Dubai è solo uno show, la mia india sarà scassata ma è autentica.
